Cool morning ⛅ Warm drinks ☕ Big decisions about next year’s benefits
October’s that month where the air finally hints at sweater weather 🧣 (even if Florida makes us wait a little longer 😉). Pumpkin spice takes over, mornings feel calmer and crisper, and the shift in season is subtle but powerful — it makes us pause and sometimes plan ahead.
Speaking of looking ahead… this is open enrollment season.
Just like we wouldn’t leave the house without checking the weather 🌦️, we shouldn’t head into the new year without making sure we have the right protection in place for ourselves and our families.
One thing I learned from working in HR: Now is the time to review
✅ Health Insurance
✅ Life Insurance and
✅ Employee Benefits we’re paying for—but often skim past or overlook.
👉 These decisions may not feel urgent, but they can absolutely impact your year:
- It could be the difference between being prepared… or being hit with unexpected expenses.
- The difference between taking advantage of benefits you already pay for… or leaving them unused and essentially double-paying.
So before this month gets away from you, Pause .
Take inventory. Ask questions. Make sure your health, your family, and your future are aligned with the life you’re living right now.
Because just like the seasons, life shifts — and planning is about staying ready for it.
As the seasons change and we sip that first pumpkin spice latte ☕, I meditate on change in my own life.
If you’re meditating, slowing down, figuring things out too—your rhythm 🎵, your next chapter 📖, or simply what matters most—let’s do this together 🌱.
So here’s my question to you:
What change does fall bring about for you — and what changes should fall bring for you?
Book some time and share a little — I’d love to hear what this season is stirring up for you.
Until next time,
True ✨🚀
